Halle time.

We've started something fun around here.  Regular one-on-one time with the kids.  Mom and dad take turns with each kid once a month.  Hal was first and it was my month.   Honestly, I think I was as excited as she was about it.  So for Halle time this month she wanted to go to McDonalds and get an ice cream.  First we got some new fingernail polish.  Then we headed to McDonalds.  Now, this isn't my favorite place, but she was so excited so it turned out fun for me too.  They were giving out free kids books when we got there.  She picked out her ice cream and got a happy meal toy.  Did you know you can just buy the toy for 69 cents and forget all the unhealthy food?  That's all my kids ever want anyway.  Then she got to play at the play place for an hour and a half.  She was so much fun all by herself.  It was a a great reminder for me how special she is.  It was so fun to focus on just her.  I'm already looking forward to next month!
