A little thing called...Hero Squad

Lately I have been very blessed to have my own little Hero Squad.  They are a few people in my life that are always there for me.  These are only a few members.  I hope to get around to spotlighting more in the future.

Mike:
Of course.  He is the leader of Hero Squad.  I don't have room on this blog to write all the things he does for me.  Just know they include:  letting me sleep, laundry, baths, putting kids to bed, prayers, blessings, playing, teasing, and way more.   He is such a wonderful father and husband.  We love him so much!!
Here he is holding up Jay.  Last weekend Jay married Haylee at the SL temple.  See, Mike is strong as well!

Which brings me to...
Mindy and Lucas:
They are always helping me out in one way or another.  They were the official babysitters last weekend so Mike and I could enjoy the day without the children.  They do way cooler stuff with them than I do.  I think they've probably provided half their wardrobe as well.
We can't wait until you have kids and we can pay you back!!!

So my sister's brother in law got married this weekend in Salt Lake.
We headed up to the big city to spend some time with the kiddos while Steph and Mike had a lovely afternoon without them ....

We started out at the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum at the Gateway. It was awesome! The kids got to work at a construction site, drive around and pump their own gas, pick veggies from their garden, go rock climbing, ride horses, and even ride in a Life Flight helicopter! Plus much more, it's a really fantastic place ...








Then we went and grabbed some lunch and headed to Liberty Park. Huge playground, fish pond, pioneer museum, mini-amusement park, tons of grass to run around on ... this park is awesome. Plus there were tons of weird people there.
