Snowflakes

We made this cute and yummy snack and it was so easy. So if you need a quick treat, try this idea from the Friend!
Edible Snowflakes
By Sherry Timberman
fresh, thin flour tortillas
cooking oil
powdered sugar
1. Using the same technique as cutting out paper snowflakes, you can make snowflake shapes out of flour tortillas. Sprinkle the tortilla with water and warm it in the microwave or oven to make it more flexible. Then fold the tortilla in half, fold it in half again, and fold it in half a third time. Using clean scissors or kitchen shears, cut designs from both sides of the triangle-shaped, folded tortilla and along the rounded edge.
2. Unfold the tortilla. Put a small amount of oil in a pan and fry the tortilla until it is crisp.
3. Sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
*I used uncooked tortillas and they were so easy to use! Plus, I think they taste better.

And I have to point out the sassy little boots on Savanna. She looked so cute at church yesterday.
**Breaking news! Savanna just went on her big girl potty! You may think we are obsessed with poop at our house, and the truth is that we are. If you are potty training or have recently, you know how I feel.

Isn't it wonderful for our girls to be going potty in the big girl potty. I think Kayleigh was much easier to train then Jonathan. Kayleigh is now finally potty trained. Good luck!
